There's one thing I suggest that may be of help, try keeping a journal or a diary and write down what emotion or feeling you're trying to avoid. Each time this happens, make a note on your phone and calendar for a week, for you to understand the triggers of your cravings. By then, you can easily determine if you are hungry for food or just hungry for comfort."
